Eric has presented his research on Central Texas negro league history and other topics to groups ranging from the SABR 44 National Conference, elementary schools, Nerd Nite, and on Central Texas NPR. He is co-chairman of SABR's Asian Baseball Committee.

This blog is set to document the unique and forgotten stories and characters behind baseball's history with a special emphasis on Texas baseball history. And when it comes to stories of these men and events I believe that Buck O'Neil's quote on Satchel Paige best sums up my approach: "Of course the stories about Satchel (Paige) are legendary and some of them are even true."
